| The Sisters of St. Francis, Sylvania, Ohio - History The Sisters of St. Francis of Sylvania, Ohio were founded in 1916 in the Toledo area to serve people as educators. In a short time they extended their ministry to healthcare and human services and continue to do so in over twenty-five dioceses across the United States. |
