Resident Rooms We currently have 54 rooms with 99 beds - with no room having more than two residents. Our rooms are spacious and can be furnished to create a feeling of home. Other Facilities In addition to resident rooms, we have a chapel, a courtyard, and a dining room that can be used for formal or informal activities and gatherings. The Franciscan Care Center, Sylvania bus is used for off-site activities that allow our residents to get away from their everyday surroundings and brighten their day.	Meals Our dietary manager visits residents shortly after admission to determine food preferences and complete a dietary plan of care. The facility supplies special snacks and supplements for residents. Families are welcome to dine with the resident during meals, at a minimal cost. Meals are served at approximately 8:00am for breakfast, 12:00pm for lunch and 5:00pm for dinner. Telephone Services Telephone service is available through Verizon. The resident service number is (800)483-4600.	Pharmacy Services Westhaven Pharmacy (Omnicare), located in Perrysburg, Ohio, is the most commonly used pharmacy by this facility. Any pharmacy that will deliver to the facility can also be used. If you choose an outside pharmacy the charge nurse must be notified so that he/she can make the necessary arrangements. Beauty and Barber Services A licensed beautician is available for both men and women by appointment. The beautician's services include wash & set, haircut, beard trim, cut & set, perm & cut, and hair coloring.

Smoking Regulations Franciscan Care Center, Sylvania is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the facility. Residents are not allowed to keep smoking materials in their rooms. These items must be kept locked at the nurses' stations. Areas outside of the building will have ashtrays available for those who prefer to smoke. In some cases supervision may be required.
